Wild Silver Needle White Tea 🇨🇳

Origin: Wild Silver Needle tea (Bai Hao Yin Zhen) grows in the misty Tai Mu Mountains at altitudes of 600 to 800 meters – a region considered a golden altitude. This region has a mild, oceanic climate, high humidity, and ideal rainfall. The soils are mineral-rich, slightly acidic, and promote deep root growth. Surrounded by almost untouched forest (99% coverage), the tea bushes mature slowly and in a protected environment. This tea embodies the essence of untouched nature.

The wild tea bushes of this tea are approximately 50 to 60 years old and grow high in the mountains. Due to their slow growth and natural environment, harvesting is particularly labor-intensive: An experienced picker can only harvest about 1 kilogram per day.

Health: High in antioxidants, flavonoids, and L-theanine, it fights oxidative stress, supports heart and metabolic health, aids aging, immunity, and skin. For the mind, it reduces anxiety, its low in caffeine, boosts calm focus, mood and enhances memory.

Taste: The result is an infused tea that is crystal-clear and yields a pale apricot-yellow liquor with fresh, floral notes of apricot, hay, vanilla, and subtle melon sweetness. It offers a smooth, mellow mouthfeel without bitterness, evolving to honeyed richness with age.

Wild Silver Needle is extremely rare compared to normal wild silver needle. The available quantity is very limited each year—there is usually only a single window of opportunity during the year when this tea can be purchased. Within one to two months, it is often snapped up by tea lovers and disappears into private collections. After that, genuine Wild Silver Needle is almost impossible to find on the market.
